A research expert and focus-group guru tells us what he believes average Americans are really looking for - and how other average Americans can take advantage of that information.
Luntz's book is weakened by the lack of a core audience (do housewives really need to be told that they feel they're being pulled in a million different directions?) and is a bit heavy on self congratulatory name-dropping. Nevertheless, for me, it's worth a read, if only for the obscure bits of knowledge. For example: Americans would rather have reliable customer service than a date on Valentine's Day... what an unromantic bunch!
